What are OAs?

Allied Health Professionals (AHPs):

  • Our registered AHPs construct the scheduled plan that navigate our AHAs in their journey to accelerating the goal achievement of participants.

Assisted by our Allied Health Assistants (AHA's):

  • AHAs work under the indirect supervision of our registered AHPs
  • Hold a Cert III or IV in AHA; and/or
  • Are currently completing a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, speech pathology or Positive Behaviour Support.

  • Extended waitlists are tackled through reduced appointment frequency, thanks to our OAs support in achieving participants goals, resulting in shorter waitlists
  • Limited sessions are overcome as our skilled OAs optimise services, maximising participant value while stretching funding to accelerate goal achievement
  • The implementation gap is bridged with the specialised expertise of our OAs pursuing degrees, blending theoretical and practical knowledge to efficiently achieve participant goals
  • Underutilisation of AHAs is addressed through our OAs involvement, ensuring more time spent supporting participants with making measurable progress.
